Our Cosmetic and Therapeutic Treatments

At Kisling Family Dentistry, we want to offer our Cosmetic and Therapeutic Neurotoxin (Botox™, Xeomin) services to everyone! It is a very popular treatment that many people get for multiple reasons. Cosmetic treatments are meant to help wrinkles and lines in the face while Therapeutic treatments can be used to treat headaches, clenching, and TMJ pain.

Cosmetic and Therapeutic treatments use the same injectable, but they are used for different purposes. Cosmetic treatments are used to prevent neurotransmitters from triggering the movement of facial muscles which, over time, causes wrinkles and fine lines.

Therapeutic treatments have been approved for use by the FDA and is used to treat headaches and overactivity of the masseter and temporalis muscle which can lead to TMJ pain and tooth wear.
